Global Renewals for Armoza’s Still Standing

TEL AVIV: Armoza Formats’ game show Still Standing has been recommissioned worldwide in countries such as Italy, Thailand and Belgium.

A second season of the local version in Italy, produced by Endemol Italy, has been commissioned for Canale 5. Titled Caduta Libera, it will begin production in December and is slated to air in January. A second season of Still Standing is also in the works for Channel 7 in Thailand via Armoza’s representation deal with NBCUniversal International Formats. The 52-episode second season will be produced by Zense Entertainment.

VTM in Belgium is also set to begin airing a sophomore season of the format, and a seventh season will air on JSBC in China this month. Meanwhile, Canal 10 in Uruguay has acquired a 40-episode 13th season of the ready-made Spanish version, locally known as Ahora Caigo.

A fourth season of Still Standing, created by July-August Productions, is currently airing on Channel 10 in Israel. Still Standing gives contestants the chance to win $1 million if they can out-guess their opponents in fast-paced trivia battles. If they don’t answer fast enough, they are dropped through the studio floor.

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, said: “The simple and unique structure of Still Standing makes it a winning formula for television audiences everywhere, and we’re thrilled to see its continued growth internationally.”
